We want you to be completely satisfied with your Style Room purchase. If your item doesn't meet your expectations, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
1. Your Legal Rights (UK)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving any reason. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of receipt — regardless of the conditions below.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Items must be:
- Unworn and unused
- In the same condition as received
- With all original tags attached
- In original packaging (where applicable)
A proof of purchase is required. Returns sent without contacting us first cannot be accepted.
3. How to Start a Return
Email us at info@style-room.co.uk with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- A short explanation
- Photos if the item is damaged or incorrect
After approval, we will provide:

⚠️ Please note:
- Do not send items before receiving confirmation
- As our fulfilment centre is located in China, we strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. International shipping costs to China from the UK typically range from £15–£35. We recommend Royal Mail International Tracked or a courier service.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except where the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect
- No prepaid return labels are provided for change-of-mind returns
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service
- If a return shipment is lost or delayed, please contact your carrier directly
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item (in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund
- In some cases, we may offer store credit as an alternative
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@style-room.co.uk with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos
We will offer an appropriate solution: replacement, full refund, or store credit. You will not be asked to return a faulty item at your own expense.
7. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
- Worn, washed, altered, or damaged items (unless faulty on arrival)
- Items without original tags or packaging
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or colour:
- Request a return for the original item
- Place a new order for the replacement
9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may contact:
